How sturdy is the frame?

Is the sill plate necessary?

Yes. For proper operation, the sill plate must be installed.

The width of the custom screen door is from 25 to 96 inch, and the length is from 70 to 96 inch.When the width exceeds 51inch, we default to the screen door as a two-way door.

Installation ????

It wasn't the easiest to install. The door frame might not be plum so the horizontal line dips a little. But overall I really like to have the screen to let in fresh air.
